When Jennifer Hannah reached out, she was about to take a huge leap in her career. She was leaving the classroom after 10+ years and was ready to start something new. Something innovative that would serve her community in an exciting way.
She knew design was going to be a huge part of the customer experience, so she decided to go all in with a full branding and website design package. Through the process, we pulled in a third party platform called Sawyer to manage all the course scheduling and processing. I love problem-solving for my clients, and this was a valuable find! Once the design had been established, it was time for the next BIG part of her business presence—the bus.
Through design consulting, I was able to provide feedback for the wrap designer to create the perfect exterior design for Big Blue. (I worked with Jennifer on the inside as well, which was particularly fun because, have you seen this bus??) Sit Beside is also local here in Fort Worth, so I get to experience the brand in person, which has been such a fun perk.

VISUAL DIRECTION
The branding for Sit Beside was created to feel both modern and inviting to portray a feeling of playfulness, creativity, connection, and simplicity. The branding concept begins with a simple sans serif font and grows in playfulness from there with starbursts, lines of movement (and growth!) and a playful bus icon. Colors also have a deep meaning for the Sit Beside brand. In addition to creating a calming and inviting environment, we included the colors associated with the heart chakra and throat chakra, both very important colors to represent your ability to give and receive love, in addition to expression, openness, and truth.
